Does Vue.com let you register for nclex-rn or pn without applying with your state board of nursing and let you take exam? Just wondering.

You can apply before you get approval but your account is valid for only 12 months and if there are any problems or delays and it expires you will have to apply again and pay. Also PN is different to RN and for immigration it can not be done on PN. Much has been written in the Philippine forum about LPN. You can not sit the exam without approval from BON

Re: nclex registration

You have to have approval from a state BON to be able to even take the NCLEX exam. You are not able to apply directly for it.

Suggest that you check out the Primer on the International Forum as you have additional requirements for licensure in the US.

Each state has their own Board of Nursing and they have their own requirements. Some give a year to sit for the exam, and others give only three months. Same for when you receive the ATT that gives you permission to test, the validity changes per state.

You will need to refer to the state where you plan to get licensed for specifics. You will need to follow the requirements for the foreign trained nurse.
