I've read a few posts ago that you can call the board of nursing [in my case, the one in California] and check the status of what day they're "working on".

Has anyone ever done that? If so, what do you specifically ask for? I don't want to call and sound like a desperate person trying to find out which day they're on.

I took my NCLEX PN on March 20th - and it's Day 19! Haven't heard anything yet!!

I haven't heard of that. I hope u passed! I took mine April 10, 2008 and Im still waiting for my results. Goodluck!

And keep in mind for every phone call made to them checking the status, that is only going to delay you and everyone else.

There is not one thing that you can do until you receive the letter in the mail, and they cannot give you any information over the phone concerning your results at anytime.

More phone calls and longer waiting time.
