I am wordering if anybody here knows how long should i wait until I get my authorization to take the Nclex test.

We mailed the filled up forms and the initial payment last dec 11, but until this day I am still waiting for the authorization..

For the California NCLEX-PN, the state will send you your eligibility paperwork approximately 5 to 6 weeks after you mailed the completed forms and initial paperwork. So expect your authorization at the end of January 2006.

My paperwork was sent to Sacramento on October 14 and I received my authorization on November 21. So for me, it took exactly 5 weeks.

I dont know how other states are but New Hampshire is fairly quick.I just overnighted my paperwork and money to them first of last week,I finally called because the website said nothing,They hadnt even recieved my application,I had confirmation and all come to find out it was delivered to the wrong office and sitting somewhere.So keep after them sometimes I guess they get to busy,So tommorow there going to look around for my application.Lets hope they find it

California is a wait.........................for the LVN, as well as RN.

I wish her the best of luck in waiting,you do get anxious,why is there such a wait is it due to so many people applying for the nclex?It seems from what i have read from others other states have a long wait also?
