Hello i am new to all nurses.com. I am currently having tremendous trouble trying pass the NCLEX exam. I graduated in December 06 and have taken the test 4 times already!! I am SO frustrated and depressed about continous failure. I dont know what else to do to prepare. I took the test last on December 26th and had 75 questions, my previous test i had 91, 113,151 questions. I really felt confident this time but no i failed. I took a Kaplan review, did many review books...i just feel so lost...can anyone help or give any suggestions please

Try Suzanne's plan, she has had a lot of success and can be found under the heading/sticky 2008 version of Suzanne's plan

i think you need to take abreak for awhile and evaluate yourself...but never give up sooner or later you'll make it...I was once in your shoes hoping and praying to see that "pass" in my RN exam i know it's easier said than done....if you think you have tried a lot of things why not give it a shot once more...have you tried suzanne's strategy? check her sticky....and good luck...

Oh my!!were on the same situation.I'just took my 4th attempt last feb 21 and as always, i failled again.I just took kaplan hoping it'll be better but it never did!!now i really don't know were i'm heading!!my results wer 86,265,265,254.And as i take it,it seems it's getting harder and harder!!Maybe all we have to do is pray and keep on working on it.maybe soon,who knows!!!goodluck to us!!!

I would suggest Suzanne's Plan to you. It is the best thing out there. Like everyone stated earlier, you can find it as a stickie on the top of the page once you enter the "NCLEX DISCUSSION BOARD".

Just remember, NEVER GIVE UP...

I agree with everyone else.

take a step back. Look at what way you have been studying and do a change for good.

it is possible to pass that test. You passed nursing school, so you are capable of passing.

I never used saunders to study suzzanne's plan, but since you mentioned that you used everything else, perhaps you should go out and buy a saunders book, read every page in it, do every question in it, then apply to take the test.

work very hard.

hard work pays off, believe me, I "gave up" time with my baby so I could study, I "gave up" alone time with my husband, I "gave up' going to movie and dinner. I spent at least 8 hours at the kaplan center that people eating in the computer room started to really annoy me that I would tell on them.

and I made it first time with 75Q, I was not confident at all, but I ended up passing.

If I can do it, anyone else can, it just takes really hard hard hard work.

i've emailed suzanne a few days ago regarding the second tip, and havn't gotten an email from her. iam taking my test on may1st. should i email her back? im done with the first tip

She has been busy with work, would just give it a few more days before sending her another pm
