The NCLEX day!!!!!!!!!! EEEEPPPP!

Wow, those questions really threw me for a loop. Wish I could have a picture of what I looked like when the screen went blank on me at 75. After about 4-5 check all that apply, priorities and patient teachings, and those horrible "Floatnurse A comes up to your (insert unit here), which patients would you give them, and no medication calculations (though I did have pharm effect questions), I don't know what to think. Is it true no medication questions are a good thing? Well, my poor stomach is going to get an ulcer over the next 2 days.

Welcome to allnurses!

I am sure you did well. Try to take it easy on the worrying though I am sure it can be nerve wracking waiting for those results.

Good luck

Where did you write? Im sure you did fine I am from Ontario Canada and wrote mine in May of 04, it was freaky our nursing exam at the time for the board was still in booklet form with mutiple guess. I wrote my Nclex at 830am with no sleep after getting lost and having a really hard time finding my hotel. I feel asleep twice during the exam and when it shut off I just was sooo freaked, it passed and well so did I I knew about it though the web site when I got home the afternoon the next day. Good Luck

I took mine this morning at 0800. The BON had issued an RN license by noon!!! Check your boards website, I was anticipating a few days wait (or the unofficial pay-for-results after 48 hours), so I am happy today!!!

Don't stress too much. It seems to be the general concensus that if you shut off at 75 you passed? I shut off at 75 and thought that I was doing so bad they wouldn't let me answer one more question!!! Two days later I found out I was not as dumb as I thought. But how about those questions?? I think I had to guess on 50 of them!!! And I studied very hard! Just wasn't what I was expecting I guess.

Re: The NCLEX day!!!!!!!!!! EEEEPPPP!

Bleh...So I am hoping that I will get good news Friday morning here in NC. I have been bonkers over the past 2 days trying to calm down, but I just cant. Today I even made a list of items I knew I passed/failed/ and wasnt sure about. Right now looking at 12ish Items I knew I failed. Now most of those were patient teaching, patho related to a couple off the wall drugs (Ancillin, I mean come on), and I missed a couple of the check all that apply (Just remember everyone secondary syphilis causes alopecia too!). I just don't know what to think, everyone keeps saying that I did fine and not to worry, but that is WAY easier said than done. Please say a prayer for me!

consider it done....I remember how messed up I was and I couldnt even check what was right or wrong because I just didnt remember. Take a deep breath, try not too get stressed. You cant change anything now..just have faith and believe in yourself. {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
