GO MAY NCLEX TAKERS
Go with Saunders. You say you already have that book but didn't really use it. After each chapter on a body system you learn all the drugs that have to do with that body system so you learn them in context which is really helpful.
Do the Saunders book. Do the questions first. After each question read the answer and take notes on what you don't know. Read all of the answer and take notes even on what is not a part of the question because you still need to know it. SOMETIMES it is helpful to read the rationale, sometimes not, because some of the methods are not proven to work. Then go back and review the chapter. Underline (or highlight) what you don't know and take more notes. Just go chapter by chapter. If there is a chapter that you really know well then you don't need to go back and review but I always did and found it helpful because there were many things in the chapter that wasn't in the questions.
Do not go back to answer the questions twice. That is wasting time. Those same questions will be on the CD anyway.
When you are done with an entire subject plus the pharm, then go to the CD study mode and go to content then choose that subject and do all those questions. Take notes.
Some subjects on the CD will have more than 500 questions so you won't get it all done in one day

But it's important that you do the CD in this manner. Do not do test mode. Wasting time. If you go subject by subject you will end up doing all the questions on the CD and reading all the answers and taking notes on it all.
At nite, before you go to bed, read your notebook on all the things you didn't know. Then when you wake up in the morning, before getting out of bed, try to recall 90% of what you learned the day before. Then start all over again for the day
Take breaks when your brain gets tired. You can only learn so much at a time. Eat healthy and get some exercise because you need balance. You can't sit there all day long and just study.
This is hard work but it really gets the info in your brain.
Good luck and get going
