JNJ18-
Those are good state about 1/3 of your test were higher level questions--thats always a good sign that you were doing well--
yeah, my last test i had 250 questions--80 were pharm !!! 80 !!!! i knew, for sure , about 25 or so--the rest was.....eeeny meeenie minnie moe.. i still dont see why we as nurses have to be so med competent--i mean , on a nursing unit there are dozens of source materials that one can reference--i even call the pharmicist on many occasion
ONCE-during muy last semester in nursing school--i saw the med sheet and it read "Marys magic mouthwash. PO, 15 ml 0900, 1200, 1600"??!
MARYS MAGIC MOUTHWASH ??!!!!--are you kidding me ?? --of course i looked in the med book-NOTHING--i ask several nurses--they were like what ??!! my instructor was also baffled--
so i walked to pharmacy and asked him.
what it is--is that hospitals "special" med..i beleive it was lidocaine, with maalox, and something else--and they mixed it up and called it that..
(i wish i would have seen that on my boards--i would have got it correct !!
