I highly suggest Saunder's comprehensive and Saunder's Q&A. There is a cd that comes along with it. Really helpful. Then do Kaplan question trainer 6 & 7 only. That would be the closes to Nclex. In my experience I utlized the content of Saunder's and Kaplan for critical thinking. I felt confident. takenotes and read it over. Understand every rationale. Make sure you know each content, EX. Peds, OB etc...cuz once you don't answer them right they keep throwing at you. And another thing, NCLEX likes to ask a lot of priority questions such as who would you see first, you have 4 phone messages, who would you call first? If one of the choices are "CHRONIC COPD" not the answer cuz remember these patients has long term disease therefore thay would not be the first person you see or call. Kaplan taught me that. If they ask you anything on OB position, it is always left side lying unless the patient has a prolapse cord or you can put them on trelendenberg position. Hope it helps.....good luck
where do you get the kaplan question trainer 6 and 7? Off of their website? They have so many options for different nclex preperations programs on the kaplan website it gives me a headache thinking about it!
