Life after failing NCLEX. What is the next thing to do?

After I failed my NCLEX I feel so dissapointed ,depressed and my self-esteem went down. I don't know what to do. I asked myself What do I need to do in order to pass this nclex? But with help of prayers and faith in GOD, here I am again trying very hard to do the best I can to review and prepare for my next exam.

I failed many times but we need to be more positive in life. This is the only way and road to succeed in our career and in life. Sorry for being so dramatic Don't STOP!!! hoping and believing that someday we will become an RN.

Re: Life after failing NCLEX. What is the next thing to do?

Hey how are you, miserable I bet. Listen hang in there the nclex is a test written by nurses who no longer cut it in the field so they sit in a room and think up bs questions in order to confuse. I failed it the first time, and believe me it was a tragic blow. But guess what I went and got a tutor and she was awesome.
Go out and purchase Davis NCLEX RN success 2nd edition. Start in order and only do 25 questions a day.
How you answer the questions is this:
look at the question in your head pick what you think is write...do not answer. With ur med-surg or other text look up every answer and see why it's right or wrong.
Do this for 2 months and when you are answering 90 % right on the test...before researching ur ready.
and remeber nclex is the best of the worst responce...
I passed the 2nd time at 121...I am a peds nurse and love it
Good luck u will pass

Thanks for sharing your experience. I'm trying to practice question everyday and practice my critical thinking skill. Hoping to succeed on my next nclex exam.

Thanks
