I just took the NCLEX today and had ALL 265 questions. It's been several hours since the test and I still feel nauseated. From my understanding of the NCLEX, if the computer has a difficult time assessing your competency, the difficulty level of your last question determines whether or not you pass. When I got up to question #260 I had a "check all the above" question (aside from a ton of those I also had lots of delegation and triage questions). What I'm worried about...is the last five questions weren't all that difficult. I also had quite a bit of math for meds towards the end. Isn't math for meds in the last part of the exam the kiss of death?

oops i thanked when i was trying to reply to you. anyway, as you know nclex is different for everyone. i don't think there is a particular "kiss of death" r/t any one kind of question. and you're just as likely to pass at 265 as at 75 or any question in between. i think you are just stressing out, and you are going to make yourself crazy! i had 75 questions and when that computer turned off i wanted to cry because i knew i had not demonstrated my competence in those 75 questions. i felt like i needed an ativan or a couple stiff drinks after that i was so anxious. i paid the extra money to get early computer results (it is worth the money) and when i saw that i had passed the stress just melted off. try to relax, do something fun, and think positively!
