Kaplan and Saunders?

Is Kaplan alot like Saunders 4th ed. CD? Or is it worth doing the home Kaplan program?

Re: Kaplan and Saunders?

IMO, Kaplan and Saunders are nothing alike. Kaplan focuses on questions and their style of questions are very close to the style of questions on the NCLEX.

Saunders focuses on content. Their questions, IMO, were nothing like NCLEX questions, but as a content review, I found Saunders to be irreplaceable.

The two together is a very complete, comprehensive review.

Re: Kaplan and Saunders?

I think Kaplan helped me the most. The questions were more like those on the NCLEX. I'm mad that I spent the money on the Saunders.

Re: Kaplan and Saunders?

I agree with OptimusPrime.

I used both Kaplan and Saunders.

The Saunders questions were easier than Kaplan, but contained excellent content information and rationales for questions.

Kaplan Q bank were most like the NCLEX. I even had one that was nearly identical.

IMO Kaplan is well worth the cost, especially Qbank.

I passed first time w/75 and feel that Kaplan helped me most. (I read ALL rationales)
