I just took NCLEX test today and the computer shut off at 160. I'm so nervous because there is no way to know if that means I was doing well so it shut off, or if I was doing so bad it shut off. I can't stand not knowing considering my life depends on this, afterall isn't this what we struggle through nursing school and it all comes down to this one test. I'm just glad that it's over with now there's just the waiting...

Hang in there Courtney. It's true, there's no way of knowing what 75 questions, 265 questions, or anything in between means. do you have quick results in your state? I'll be thinking about you. I'm sure you did fine. Best wishes.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I believe we do have quick results here in my state so from what I know I should be able to check in 48 hours. I'll post once I know(I just it's yeah I passed kind of post).

Im in the same boat as you, just took it today. Mine shut off at 110, I thought I would have some clue if I passed of failed but after the test.. I have no idea, I'll pray for both of us!

Hey there, I'm also in the same boat. I took mine yesterday, and I had 250 questions...that could go either way I guess. I'm still really nervous, but we also have the 48 hour post, so hopefully it will be up there tomorrow for all of us! Good luck, and I'll be praying for us!

Well I am in the same boat as you courtneyalissa vbmenu_register("postmenu_1809284", true); mine shut off at 150 or 160 .Who knows I prayed for it to shut off and was not even sure where it shut off at .I am so sick from it !!!!!!!!!
I glued to the computer checking to see if I passed !It really is 50 / 50 .
I wish they would just give us an unoffical idea .I also will be praying for us !

We're all in the same predicament! I took the nclex last Aug 15 and the waiting really makes you anxious! My test shut down at about 75 and at the back of my mind i'm thinking if I answered almost everything wrong? The computer kept on giving me hard questions, mostly prioritizing, alittle about pharma but no computations! I guess all we can do now is to hope and pray that we pass so that we don't have to go thru all those sleepless nights reviewing and preparing! Goodluck to all who just took the nclex and I'll include you guys in my prayers.

I took my NCLEX today, too and it shut off at 75. I didn't get any calculations or diagrams. I got a lot of select all that apply and prioritizing and teaching questions. I have no clue if I passed or not. I was talking to a nursing instructor friend of mine, being all worried that I wouldn't pass, and he said "If you fail, take it again." At least we can take it again.....I know there are people on this board who have taken it multiple times and passed.
