Hi I know there will be a lot of infection control questions on the NCLEX. Does anyone know if that just consists of standard, contact, droplet, airborne precautions, and handwashing?
Can anyone think of other things that might be included?
Thanks, my mind if drawing a blank.
That is true there will be a lot of infective
control questions on the NCLEX. It consists of standard, contact, droplet, airborne precautions, handwashing, gloves, masks, eye protection, face shield, gowns, enviromental control,pt placement, transport
def dont memorize I had alot like 20 on my test and it was more of what type of room and type of room are they droplet, airborne etc? what would yu put on? if they had to go to xray what would they have on OR..... would u just have port xray come up to decrease risk to others. clean pts vs dirty and who can mix and match in what room. these were the types I got and how to don and dauph your iso gear good luck!!!! its not so much of what is TB what is MRSA what is xx disease. that should already be known know what tyoe of iso precautions
What I meant was learn the material and you will be prepared to apply your knowledge appropriately. Memorizing never worked for me either. If you have a solid base, you should be ready to tackle those fun SATA's. You will also be a better nurse. Best of luck to you.
