Talking i passed the nclex-rn at 170+

i passed! took my exam at white plains, ny. i genuinely felt i was going to fail. after my exam, i felt like my life was on hold. i had no energy. so i got online and then found this site. all the entries regarding how people felt after the exam helped me. it was so comforting to find out that other people felt the same way as i did.

for those waiting for their exam results, have faith. i was so sure i failed the exam that i told relatives and friends not to expect too much. i got so many pharmacology questions. my first question was a computation item, my triage questions had pharmacology in it as well. my exam was so full of pharma. it was difficult for me since i wasnt familiar with all the drugs and their actions. i had items regarding infection control, multiple sclerosis, and multiple myeloma as well.

try to focus on the questions. during the exam, i was distracted by so many things. i always looked at the time and got freaked out on how much time was left. i also looked at how many items i have answered so far, also freaking out at 75, 100, 150, 175. i was analyzing the degree of difficulty of my questions. i was making mental notes on how many delegation questions i had. i was trying to picture a line graph in my head everytime i answered an easy or difficult item, wondering if i was on the right track. i got too distracted that i knew i wasn't able to give proper attention to the exam itself. have focus.

i hope this helps someone. =) you are not alone.

good luck to the examinees!
