I'm very anxious...

well, i took the nclex yesterday. And like all the other test takers, i really feel anxious while waiting for the result. Someone told me that i can see the result in california BON online after 2-3 days but i dnt knw how and where to find it in the website. I answered 75 questions with 5 SATA and 1 computation..

I don`t think you can see the results on line for ca bon...but if your name pops up with a rn number ( in the verify licence section) then means you passed.

ARGIEGO

--ok being a self proclaimed "expert" on the CA BRN--(its a long story)

heres how it works

If you just graduated and this is you first time--it could be a while, until they process your schools transctripts.

Once your file is "complete" you are looking at MIN 3 business day-to about 10 businesss days---before you see your name online---there are always exceptions to the rules--some have seen thier name on line much later but 90%-this holds true.

The CA BRN will not give you results over the phone--so dont ask them, BUT they will tell you if your file is "complete" if you call and ask them--like i said if you just graduated wait a bit

I got pinned on DEC 16 2007

the CA BRN completerd our transcripts on JAN 18, 2008--

I have a question . i took my nclex right after I got my eligibility letter. That was my first time taking the exam, last april 30. So, I did not get thec chance to received my Interim permit. I called the Ca BON twice , bout my Interim permit, they said I dont need it if I passed it then the second time I called for a refund and when they opened my file they said "you did__". I did not hear the last word. I am not sure if that's a hint to tell me that I passed or not. would they do that on the phone like giving you an idea bout oyur result?

BABSI-

you know, there ARE stories that i have heard where the person did give "hints"--a friend of mine was going to lose her insurance for her family if she did not pass and called there crying--the lady on the phone said--something like "everything will be ok, if you know what i mean"---but these instances are few and far betweenn and it happened years ago--i wouldnt put faith into that--we just gotta wait here in CA

ARGIEO

yeah, check back periodically--they update everyday tues-wed 0530. and only once per day.

Re: I'm very anxious...

But it only aplies to Us applicants since A ssn is needed in order to see the results. Unfortunately, i really have to wait for weeks for the result.

Re: I'm very anxious...

Foreign nurses with no SSN have no choice but wait for snail mail which depending on where you live takes anything from 3 weeks onwards
