I have a quick question.... I wanted to know how many of you guys studied only from Saunders4th edition and the Kaplan book(the one you can but at a book store and not the Kaplan course) and passed the NCLEX-RN the first time around. That is what I am studying from right now. Thanks

I preferred Saunders especially the 4th edition. It motivates you more to study after applying suzanne's tip, take the short quiz at the end of each chapter don't read the rationale and then if you got 75% proceed to the next chapter if it is less than 75% go back and study the whole chapter and you will see you will get higher % and don't forget to read the rationale after taking the exam for the 2nd time. I enjoyed doing the quizzes and understand more of the content.

I have been using Saunders, Kaplan AND Mosby's....I am taking NCLEX on Monday (1/14.) I like Mosby's b/c there are a TON of prioritizing questions, and a lot of application questions. Saunders is great for brushing up on knowledge, but Mosby's questions are more advanced. Kaplan falls somewhere between Saunders and Mosby's in difficulty.
