How long does take for actual license to come after getting unofficial results? I understand it may vary from state to state, I am in missouri, and if there is any way to get it sooner?

Im in Oklahoma and i got mine about 48hrs to the minute after taken my Nclex. It got here before pearsonvue posted my results

Rocky, thanks for your reply, but i am confused are you talking about the unofficial results throu pearsonvue website?
I wanted to know about the actual license with picture etc, which here in missouri i heard takes about 6 weeks. Has anyone got in say 2-3 weeks?

I took the NCLEX last Saturday and I got my official license today (Friday)!

I am glad someone asked this question. I am from Las Vegas. A friend of mine got hers 2 weeks later. I spoke with my hospital educator and she told me that if I dont have my license by the end of the month I will get suspended !!!

I took my NCLEX 10 days ago (and passed) and I'm still waiting for my license. I have no idea how long it takes in NJ, but they're really slow. My one friend is STILL waiting for her fingerprint paperwork to come and she filed to the BON over 4 weeks ago, has already taken her NCLEX and passed and has called our BON every single day (where you can NEVER get a LIVE human!) and left a million messages and she has yet to get her paperwork. She's thinking about driving the 2 hours just to get it in person!

All depends on the state but....

I'm in Georgia.....I got my license in the mail 10 days from my test date.....(took test on 6/21, got results from PearsonVue exactly 48 hrs later on 6/23, I showed up on the states website on 6/29 and got my license in the mail on 7/1)

Hi Pri4fun Yeah I'm still waiting for my license and I'm in Massachusetts. Though I did get a letter yesterday saying that I passed and that it would be posted on the BON 7 business days (even though it was actually posted a few days after my exam!) and that i would be mailed my license in 21 business days (though I think it would be sooner). Still waiting

Thank you so much for your replies. It seems like in most states you do get the license pretty fast. Here in missouri, like i said 6 weeks seems awfully long time.
