Help!! Took the Nclex and freaking out!

Okay someone has to have an answer to this out there, it is driving me crazy!
I took the Nclex yesterday (Friday) morning. All of my friends have been checking the kentucky BON the next day and getting thier results. Well it's now Saturday night and I still don't have a license verification. I am really freaking out, crying, throwing up, you name it. I had 75 questions, mostly on prioritizing/management, disease process and teaching. I am so scared that I failed b/c my name isn't being recognized yet.
My question is: will if show up on the BON website on a weekend? Also, can you check Pearson-vue on a Sunday? I'm really upset and any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Help!! Took the Nclex and freaking out!

One word for you- BREATHE!

Most likely results will not show up on a weekend, so you'll need to wait until monday.

Also, it can take longer then 2 days. Dont think that just because you name didnt show up within 2 days means you failed. It depends on the amount of test results that they may be processing at that time.

I've said this many times, the number of questions makes no difference on whether you pass or fail. HOWEVER, prioritizing questions are of the hardest level and are great to have.

You cant let this get to you like it is- the crying, throwing up, etc. I know its a stressful time, but please Breathe, and relax.

So my advice to you while you wait.

Breathe.
Take a nice warm bubble bath and listen to music to relax yourself.
Read a book or watch a movie
Go out shopping and buy yourself something nice as a reward for getting as far as you have.
Smile- and realize that you got this far, through nursing school all the way to taking the boards. No matter what happens, you graduated, and you are not dumb in any means. Sometimes, smart people have problems taking the nclex.

And my last word of advice :

I'm sure you did fine. Please let me know how you did

Meghan
