HELP!! Im struggling to pass the NCLEX!!! Looking for reccommended review courses.

Hello everyone,
Just recently I took the NCLEX for the 2nd time and failed once again. Both times, I got 265questions. Does anyone know of any good programs that I can attend and go through to help me pass? I would prefer review courses that are in-class. I took kaplan online before I took it the first time but I failed and didnt get my money back unfortunately. Would anyone suggest that I do kaplan again but in-class this time? Im not really certain if I should go thru it again or try something new. Please help. Thanx

I just took the NCLEX March 2 and passed. I used Saunders NCLEX review book. This book can be purchased at Barnes and Noble. It comes with a CD with NCLEX like questions. I took somewhere between 2000-3000 questions total in my study time. I would study from 8am- 3pm each day taking questions. Also, many of my friends used this same book and passed on the first try with only 75 questions. Don't be hard on yourself. It is a very hard test.

Your not alone I failed it three times and I really do not know what to do? The first time I had 265 questions and the other two I had 75. I really do not know what to do. I took the Kaplan review in class and for some reason it is not working for me..... I am trying kaplan one more time....

Yea I used the saunders book also. I read thru like the whole entire book AND I did the questions at the end of each chapter. Still did not work for me. Lester, I feel your pain. I'm at a loss also and feel like I'm at my wits ends now. Hopefully the 3rd times a charm for me. Thanx for your responses guys.

sorry to hear that, but what i can recommend kaplan trainer, mosby cd,ncsbn exams andsaunders for some concepts.just study the basic concepts like DM,MI etc...Nclex is testing us whether are we safe and effective entry level nurse and they will not give such complicated topics.you should really know them by heart.

When you guys are saying you used Saunders... are you referring to the comprehensive or the Q &A? I didn't think the comprehensive book had very many questions ??

I would have BOTH on hand. If you are getting too many questions wrong while practicing, you can then go to the comprehensive review and review the whole subject.
