good feeling post nclex

Hi everyone,

Just have a quick question. How many of you finished the Nclex feeling good about it only to find out that you failed? i've heard in the past that if you feel like you passed then that means that you actually failed. I stop at 75 and felt like i did ok. Now i have a knot at the bottom of my stomach.

Pls help!

Thanks.

Re: good feeling post nclex

I took the test Saturday and at question 74 I thought to myself if this shuts off at 75, I passed, it did shut off at 75 and I cried I am not one to say I definitly passed a test, but I did feel OK about it. The next 3 days I went back and forth, some feeling great some feeling like I failed. I found out Tuesday I did pass,

GOOD LUCK
Denise, RN

Try not to analyze it too much! Best of luck on your results.

LOL! I posted this exact thing just a week ago! I left feeling like something was wrong, because that test was incredibly easy. My director said that if you left feeling like it was easy that you failed! It took me less than an hour (55mins I think), 75 questions, and in less than 22 hours I found out that I passed. That was Tuesday, last week. I have been at work as a RN all this week! Don't worry and Good Luck!

Thumbs up Re: good feeling post nclex

I took NCLEX on June 12th, and left KNOWING I had passed. By the 30th question, I knew I had it licked, and by 60 I was POSITIVE it would cut off at 75 . . . and it did . . . and I PASSED! I just never felt like the computer figured out my weakness, which is peds, and I understand that is the computer's goal -- to find your weakness, and zone in on it.

I'm just thrilled to hear of others who've been confident during and after taking NCLEX whom also have PASSED! It was an AWESOME experience for me; a day I will always remember as one of the BEST days of my life, truly!

Best wishes to everyone out there who's scheduled to take it soon! You CAN do it!!! Keep the faith!
