Getting the last question right.

I have talked to quite a few people who have passed the boards, both recently and a couple years ago. What I was told is if you get the last question right, and the computer shuts off than you passed. Just wanted to know if anyone else has heard anything similar or has had the experience.

I've heard that, and logically it makes sense - except that the minimum number of questions is 75, so it's possible (I think) to have already failed (percentage wise) by question 74. But the computer has to give you one more to reach 75. By then it won't matter whether you get it right or not. But I think it's safe to say that if you feel pretty confident that you did well up to 75, and you're sure you got #75 right, you passed. Same could be said for getting #75 wrong - doesn't necessarily mean you failed, since statistically you could have passed at 74. Make any sense? But, since the scoring system that they use is so "top secret" it's really hard to say for sure that my lil old logic is even close!!

I can't even remember what the last question was, much less whether I got it right or not! I really wished I could!

Okay I took the exam today and it shut off at 116. I am 99% sure that I answered it correctly because the other 3 answers were not at all possible. So I will let you know on Thurs if I passed.

Last questions correct

I took the Hurst review and she told us that it's all rumor about getting the last question correct and passing. It's over all how you do. She said there are alot of people who get the last question right and fail as well as those who get it wrong and pass.

Oh man don't tell me that . I was trying to think positively about getting the last one right. I do think it's kinda cool of everyone who has posted saying that they passed and got the last one right. I better keep my fingers crossed .
