getting anxious

ok guys. I have held up pretty good. but now I am getting anxious. I took the nclex yesterday and I am dying for my results. I have been confident and felt good about the exam but the longer I wait, the more worried I get. its not really so much that I think I failed, I just can't believe that it will say pass and I will have a license.

I keep checking pearsons website, even while I am out. I have been out with family all day and am now on my way to dinner. but here I am on my cellphone checking pearson and coming on this site to whine.

I know how I feel is normal, but this is brutal. does anyone know if quick results through pearsin are posted on the weekends. it does say two business days , but just curious???

thanks for listening

Re: getting anxious

I don't think they post on weekends - I'm so sorry you're having to wait this length of time. You must be in knots.

Try to hold on...find something distracting if you can. If I were in Philly this weekend (I actually have family up there in Upper Darby!) I would meet you for brunch tomorrow to help you pass the time, or suggest a day trip to Lancaster as a distraction!

At the very least, a cheesesteak would be good right about now!

Re: getting anxious

Pearson-Vue actually posts 24/7; their computers do not take holidays or weekends off.

It is 48 hours from when you test, you will not see anything up there until tomorrow.

Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.

Re: getting anxious

Lucky you, from what I've heard here, CA isn't a quick results state, so I won't hear anything until Tuesday, minimum. Hopefully 'Bob" or whoever has already processed my transcripts. THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME TOO!!!!

is there really no way to know before the 4-week duration from the day you have taken the test??... im near to resorting to go to a doctor to have a dose of anti-anxiety ....

i am sorry for you guys in CA. some members here in CA have said that they have gotten their license sooner. i guess it all depends on when and how often the CA BON updates info.

i second the anti- anxiety. i am seriously contemplating taking Tylenol pm in hopes that i will sleep until my results are available.... 12 hours from now
