im sorry to hear the news...
God has reasons for the things that happened... take time away from books and relax... offer your pain/frustrations to God and He will purify it.
when you are ready, start fresh and renewed... God bless you...

Sorry about your failure but don't give up. Give yourself time to recoop because you can do it in the end. At times, after I failed on my first try I could not see that bright light at the end of the tunnel but yesterday I captured it (2nd go round) and so can you future nurse! Exhaust different options this time or maybe work harder with the options that you already have.

I understand ..I failed my 1st time in July. I used Suzannes plan for 2 1/2 -3 mths and retook the exam Nov 6 and passed. I also felt good about it. Im sorry you did not pass but you are not a failure.
I at first had doubts about the plan but I am glad that I stuck with it. Its free and u will pass with it.
Take your time and recuperate from this and start on her plan. You will make it. When I failed, I logged onto this site EVERY SINGLE day for support and I got it. No one else understands except someone else going thru the same thing. I wish I could give u a hug cause I know how u feel BUT let me be the 1st to say that...
YOU WILL MAKE IT. When u read the posts of those who passed, its not because were boasting or bragging but just cause WE HAVE FAILED BEFORE (some of us). And we thought the world had ended until we PASSED. And you will too. Believe in yourself.

Oh my god, so reassuring. Thanks for the support, we all appreciate it and to all, i am a 2nd time taker and with the support of such fellow nurses like tflorn and encouragement I have recently started suzzanes plan as well. Believe in yourself, we always learn from our mistakes.....so make it as a learning tool my friend.

Hang in there, It took me three times to pass my boards. Dont give up, pick ur self up and get a fresh start.
I took the Kaplan class and it did wonders for me, I didnt study all day, or for hours..I did @ 75- 100 questions a day. The week before I took exam I did 265.
Lots of luck hang in there, its going to be okay.

I also failed my pn exam for the second time nov. 8 2007 and i felt like my soul had left me. I found out the next day that I failed and cried non stop. I studied saunder's from front to back and felt very ready to pass the exam. My first try the computer stopped at 85, this time if my time had not run out I did 180 questions and all thru the exam I kept saying to God please be with me. I knew I passed, I was confident when I walked out of the exam. I just don't know what happened. I had a bunch of select all that apply, dose calculations based on body weight, and what patient would you see first. PLEASE HELP ME on what I am doing wrong.

You're not doing anything "wrong" - keep a positive attitude and the rest will fall into place. I too failed my boards 2X before finally passing. I studied until I couldn't study any more each time - I took the Kaplan review through my school - used Saunders - I did take an online review w/individual tutoring ( www.readytopass.com) which was probably the best thing I did for myself, it really helped. But the only thing that will help you pass is YOU!! Stay focused, believe in yourself and I'm sure you will one day be an RN like me!! Good luck!!
