Question? - THE DAY BEFORE THE TEST...so many questions...

I will be taking the test on friday. I think I'm prepared but sometimes I get worried when I try to recall some concepts that I can't remember though I'm so certain that I have studied it in the past... Is this normal? My friend told me I will remember it while taking the test. what's the best thing to do tomorrow? DO i need to bring water and snacks in the testing center? Did you guys get hungry when you took the NCLEX? Can i eat outside the testing room? Is it advisable to take a break?

get a good night's sleep, take water or even redbull with you to the testing site just so when you feel a bit sleepy or if your eyes get tired you can grab some energy, or even powerbars. God bless you on your exam!

oh and by the way, i PMd you awhile ago

Good luck! the day before i got a massage..lol It actually really calmed me down. I practiced some questions about 200, then went to bed early. I got up early brought a bottle of water and a snack. I was only there for 2hrs so i never used them but it was good to have it there. We had to leave everything outside the testing room but you could go out anytime you wanted. For me, my thinking was that if it went over 75 questions I was going to take a break. It didn't and shut off at 75, so i never used my break. Good luck stay calm you will be great!

Re: THE DAY BEFORE THE TEST...so many questions...

Here is my advice. Don't freak out if you can't sleep the night before! I slept maybe 3 hours (fitfully) and I don't know any of my classmate (who have also all passed) that slept well, either. It's just like Marlene Hurst says - you WILL have enough adrenaline to get you through it. You'll be exhausted for a couple days after, but that's ok! I think it calmed my anxiety a bit knowing that it would be OK even if I didn't sleep.

I took my test in 40 minutes so I never took a break (certainly was never hungry - my hotel served an awesome continental breakfast and it tasted like cardboard - ate about 3 bites and nearly barfed - lol). But the office building where the testing center was did have a break room with vending machines.
