Question CAT predictability?

I took the CAT last Friday and it gave me an 80% chance of passing. How accurate are the CAT tests at predicting a person's chances of passing? Obviously I am a bit nervous(who isn't lol)

Re: CAT predictability?

Was it Mosby’s CAT? If so, I took it a few times and had predictions to pass NCLEX – 1 time 95% and 3 times – 99%. However, I looked at Q’s difficulty level , and the higher it was , the better. For example, first time Q’s difficulty level was 0.45, and another times it was 0.9, 1.04 or something like that. I took NCLEX today and had 75Q, however, I don’t know how I did. Somebody on this forum said that he/she had 95% chance of passing (according to Mosby’s CAT) and failed the actual test. So, study hard and do as many practice Qs as possible, read rationales for both correct and incorrect answers, and pray. I would not focus on CAT predictions.
