can quick results ever be wrong?

I know I should be happy and just get on with my life since Pearson's quick results said I passed, but I'm still not in my state's BON. I live in NC and other people were given their license # within 3 or 4 days after taking the test--they could go online and look it up. When I go online I'm not even in the system for an RN, still in there for CNAII tho, so I know I'm putting my soc. security # correctly. I was just wondering if the results could ever be wrong, esp since I didn't feel so great about the exam. I took it last Tues and have been relaxing (finally) since I looked at my results, but I want to know "officially". I'm leaving tomorrow for 2 weeks so I won't be able to check anymore.

Re: can quick results ever be wrong?

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. I just want to be able to tell my employer that I am "officially" an RN, but I don't need to worry about that now. I'm going to go on vacation and not think about it until I get back.

Re: can quick results ever be wrong?

Pearson-Vue results are only unoffiicial because they are not the BON, and cannot assign you a license number.

If it says that you passed, then you passed.

Re: can quick results ever be wrong?

My instructor told us we should take the NCLEX as soon as possible after graduation (we graduated in Feb) because once all the nursing schools graduate in May it will be hard to schedule due to all the graduating nurses wanting to test also. Maybe there was just a flood of tests and it is taking the BON a little longer to catch up!?!?!
