Have you checked your results online on the California Board of Nursing? and how long did it take??? I haven't even taken the test yet (i take it on friday PRAY FOR ME!!) but I'm just wondering about the results and what do you need to get to pass?!

It takes several weeks in California before you will get your results.
Every nurse who takes the exam will get 50% correct, and 50% wrong. There is no score given like other exams, only pass or no-pass. It depends on whether the exam considers you to be able to practice as a safe nurse. Your actual learning curve doen't begin until you start your first job.

Good luck...................

Hi

I was just wondering if you passed. I have a question I am in an ADN RN program and I am going to try and get my LPN after this semester. I was wondering if you did study questions. I have a Nclex-PN book and I can answer 55% out of 90 questions. Is that even enough to pass I am just wondering.

It takes 5 semester from the start. Yes you due need all your prerequsites. They have a fast track program once you get your LPN that is what you might be talking about it takes a year which is 2 semesters. Well have you been studying. Is 55% of 90 question about average to you. keep me posted

You know I'm not sure what average is but, my cousin she just passed her RN boards and she said that on the practice questions she would always score in the 60's and rarely in the low 70's, I usually scare between 64-75% I'm hoping its average, well see I take the test in 2 days I'll let you know how I do! Keep studying!!

I took the NCLEX-PN today and I don't know what to feel, I had a lot of culture questions, and I didnt study too much of culture, (esp. Jewish, Judism and Islam) and lots of maternity and patient teaching and prevent of infections.......whoooo boy it caught me by surprise, I stopped at about 87 or 88 not sure, I'm kinda in between, I was wondering do they post your online license verification before receiving the letter? But yes study don't memorize the information know why your doing it and use your application skills and critical thinking, Saunders helped a lot.....Wish me luck while I wait for my results

GREETINGS !!!

I am not sure how CA BON works, but here in NC we could call a special phone number to get our results (pass or fail). But, the catch is, it did not tell you if you had failed, it simply said something to the fact of, cannot locate in system. The NC BON online was not at all quick. I had my actual license before my name showed up online. But I think it was a little over one week before I got my results in the mail. It was 6 days before I heard anything. AGONIZING !!!!!! I can feel your pain and anguish. HANG IN THERE !!!

iwannabeaLVN,
I took the CA nclex-pn test also, well I passed already. But I just want to let you know that you can't check your result online because I tried and couldn't. Usually people in my class got their results in like ten days but it took mine for two weeks. I wish you luck. I passed w/ like 90 questions.

California does not participate in the on-line program for early results. Or via a special phone number with Pearson-Vue.
