Book suggestions please

I failed my boards on the first try, and I used Kaplan, Saunders, and Incredibly Easy, along with a book and cd from the Drexel course. I think I need something new this time. I hear Mosby is excellent. Any suggestions? Thanks

Re: Book suggestions please

Hi, I am so sorry to hear that you failed, I failed my first time too. After failing I purchased a book by Saunders called Saunders Strategies for Success for the NCLEX RN Exam and I highly recommend this book. It is a lot different from just questions and answer books because it teaches you more about how to answer the questions and what to look for in the questions that will help you pick the right answer, it is more about taking the test and gives good strategies regarding the many different types of test questions. It also comes with a CD which has video clips. I have found it to be really interesting and feel that it has helped me a lot! It cost $29.95 when I bought it. I actually went to the Kaplan week long course and think this book has helped me more than that. Good luck and don't give up!!!!! I will be retesting soon!
