Question Question? - Best NCLEX review???

I just graduated and am looking for a NCLEX-RN review. There are so many out there and are pricey. I'd hate to spend hundreds of $$ without knowing anyone that has actually used it. Kaplan? ATI? Freuer?...any suggestions?

Re: Best NCLEX review???

My class got together and all took the Kaplan review. Since it was a large group we ended up only having to pay $389 for the complete program (classroom and online resources). I thought it was very helpful because in school we hadn't seen questions the way that Kaplan presented them-which happened to be very similar to how the NCLEX was. The whole time I was doing the program though I felt like it wasn't doing anything- but then I passed the boards with 75 questions.

CONGRATS TO YOU!!!
I could really use a little bit of reassurance because I am studying with Kaplan now and "feel like I am not doing anything either...lol" and was just curious what were you Qtrainers and avg. qbank scores since you passed with 75 questions?? So far I have been averaging anywhere from mid 50's to 65 and I have Qtrainer 7 left... Any advice would be greatly appreciated since I am in you shoes and I have a little bit of time to tweak things, if needed, since I don't test until the beginning of July. Thanks in advance!

Re: Best NCLEX review???

I bought the Saunders book and did a content review and did all of the questions.

I also did online Kaplan....Qbank.

IMO NCLEX questions were most like Qbank. I am glad I paid the money and passed first time.

Re: Best NCLEX review???

Im a little bit crazy and tend to overcompensate for everything. But for some reason I bought ATI, Hurst and bought the Kaplan book. I watch hurst and do the focused test on ATI and Saunders. Review whatever I missed. Then I'll do questions from the qtrainer. Im just reviewing what I can. I really liked the Kaplan book because of the strategies and I keep hearing the questions are similar to NCLEX. Hurst is also really good for content review. Good enough for me. I just hope it helps. Taking my test June 16.
