ATT (authorization to test)

Hi guys, I was just wondering how long did you normally have to wait to receive your ATT letter after you registered with Pearson-vue. Are there ways they can expedite the process? I gave them my email and on their website it says "it could take up to 4 weeks," I think this is a long duration. I would appreciate any inputs on this matter.

Thanks

Maxs

Re: ATT (authorization to test)

from my experience (i had problems with my att too) you need to call your bon, as they have to verify that you can sit your nclex. then they send your info to pearson vue and you should get it via email. i would call pearson vue after the bon. it shouldn't take more than 24 hrs so long as you are verified without problems. i have found sometimes you just need to hassle abit!!! Get calling!!!!

Re: ATT (authorization to test)

I graduated April 29th...I am still waiting. I called BON who told me I should have my ATT next week (by email). I think that my school was really slow at sending transcripts. I recommend calling your school or BON to get more info. I understand how hard it is to wait (I thought I would have already taken NCLEX by this point)! Good luck!

Re: ATT (authorization to test)

Pearson will get your ATT to you as soon as your school signs an affidavit of graduation, sends it to your BON. The BON authorizes you to test. Pearson then sends you an authorization number. The quickest way it to register and pay on line, then they email your ATT to you. First place to start would be with your school to see if they sent their part to BON.
good luck!
