Re: anxiety is high

sounds like you're burnt out. go take a break for a few days. watch a movie, have some drinks with friends, or go to the gym. this definitely helped me out. well actually i did this everyday while i was studying so i wouldnt focus on just studying all the time.

Re: anxiety is high

If you have read that book twice already, I think you are prepared. I used Saunders and didn't even get through the book once. I answered a lot of the questions on the CD and referred to Pathophysiology book a friend gave me. You have to be careful that you don't wait too long in between studying for the test and actually taking it; you might forget some things.. I am not sure if you have taken it before but if I was in your shoes I would try to get a closer date. But that is just me, don't do it if you have doubts. Good Luck!!

Re: anxiety is high

I agree with trying to move your date up if you can.
I too was obsessed with practice questions. I did thousands of them before Nclex.
Towards the end a few weeks before my test date I would wake up and take a 20 question test, if I would score above 80% then I was done for the day. Less than 80 I would take another. I would keep going till I got the 80% mark.

That way I could feel good about myself in the fact I was prepared.

It is my thought that your doing the right thing by over preparing, I did not want to drive up to my testing center thinking, "gee I wish I would have studied more"

But you dont want to turn your mind to mush either. I dont know where you live, but we are enjoying some lovely sunny days, give your self a break and take a walk outside. The fresh air will do your mind and body good.
