I have heard that if someone is unconscious and you know they would not make it, would you leave them for last priority, also wwat about people with chronic disease, how would you prioritize them, help me out here ladies, thanks.

Yes ... have some time off the books Kay and don't feel guilty, you've worked hard enough ..... stay calm and be positive...YOU CAN DO IT!

In a disaster situation, most triage guidelines (like the START system) would say that an unconscious, breathing patient is an immediate priority, but if they're not breathing, gotta leave 'em. No time to do ventilations or compressions in mass-casualty incidents.

If we're still talking about disasters, the presence or absence of chronic disease probably doesn't affect your decisions. You're still just looking at things like LOC and respiratory rate.

Please stop studying.....You have to rest your mind. You are prepared, you know this stuff!!! I was so scared..I started to panic & keep on doing practice q's too.....but my friend came to the rescue & said nope you will not....if you don't know it by now......................
I stopped, took the test got 75 q's & passed. You can too have faith in your self, take a break & relax! Good luck

I stopped studying probally about a week before.....I did continue to do q's just to keep in practice (not a lot). I stopped everything 2 days before and tried to relax. Of course I would panic ever now & then & have to look up something just to keep from going nuts! Priority q's...who to see 1st, which call to return 1st, and your normal meds.....like for the heart, antianxiety, antipsychotic, if yours is like mine they won't all be totally foreign. Lab values just to know which would be abnormal. I am sure you will be fine....my best advice is to be positive....calm...and really ask your self what is this q asking. Do not think what if or maybe it could be this. Good luck to you!!! You can do it!
