I don't want to freak you out but I felt the NCLEX tested neither. I took it yesterday and, although I can't remember much about the actual content, I do feel that it didn't test content more than it tested "What would you do as a nurse?" The priority questions were vague but if you use your ABC's and if none of the answers pertain to that, then what would you check? It was a very strange strange test, unlike any I have ever done.
I really think they are testing a bit of knowledge but a lot on how you do under pressure. I mean, come on - I took 2 years of nursing school and only had a 75 question 45 minutes test prove that I will be a good nurse? Seems very weird and a bit scary to me.
I haven't passed yet, so you may have to throw eveything I said out the window
