Another NY question

Hi, I was just wondering, after taking the nclex-pn or RN, How long (if passed) does it take to get your liscence #? And when can you start work, Like do you actually need it in hand or is off the BON website what you can work with? And if you have to wait for it in hand, how long does that take? I haven't even gotten my ATT yet, but I am just so anxious to go to work. Thanks ahead . Jen

A co-worker of mine got her license about a week after passing the NCLEX. You can work as a graduate nurse in NYS immediately after graduation. I graduated 5/30 and was working on 6/5.
I took my NCLEX yesterday and they said on their forms @ Pearson that even tho they give you the early results, they are 'unofficial' and you can't work as an RN until you have your actual license.
