75- does this mean you got them all right??

Ok so I'm pysching myself about my NCLEX on monday. Yes thats the day after tomorrow lol.
Do I understand this right? You have to get a bit more than half right to pass and be safe? So if you shut off at 75 does that mean you got them all right or half of them right??

All it means it that you got either enough right or enough wrong for the program to determine your competence(sp?). I got only 75 questions and I was done in 35 minutes and I passed.
If you do your best then thats all you can do. Good luck and do not overstress. Try not to overstudy.

Good Luck! As the other posters have stated, you can fail or pass in 75 Qs.

And don't worry if you feel like you flunked the test. The majority of us felt that way. Just take some deep breaths and remember most of us pass the first time.

Take care...{{hugs}}

Re: 75- does this mean you got them all right??

whatever number you stop there is always a feeling of uncertainty.. i stopped at 75, i thought i failed because if felt my questions were somehow getting easier(someone told me that if you notice ur questions getting harder it means that your answers may have been correct, and if it gets easier more or less you already have several wrong answers -- wrong information i guess.. hehe)... every NCLEX experience is different.. some questions that are easy for one person may be difficult for another... just expect the unexpected!
