Wink 265 Q , again! :-(

First, I'd like to thank this site and everyone who supports one another during their nclex drama, whether good or bad. I took my NCLEX for the second time yesterday after the exam i was exhausted, nervous, tired. I came back and just played around the computer and bumped into this site and i'm so glad i did. It has truly calmed down my nerves and I feel like i'm not alone out here..so thank you to all!
Well, as i mentioned, i took my exam yesterday for the 2nd time and again, i got 265 q. The first time, I didn't get a good night sleep the niht before, and i woke up the morning of my exam just feeling ..not good. When i got to the test center, my throat started hurting and while taking my exam, my throat just got worse by the hour and not to mention, i was hoping to finish at 75, but nope. All i kept doing was looking at the number of questions and hoping it'd stop , and I kept saying, i'm not going to pass because i got the max number of questions. Not only that, but i totally ran out of time..i had less than 40 min to finish the last 65 questions and i totally totally guessed. i was clicking away cuz i figured you don't get penalized for guessing. I'm surprised the computer didn't log me off before 265. I litereally finished the last question on the last second i think. the result...failied. i cried when i found out for days.
Yesterday, i wsn't sick thank goodness, but...i did finish all 265 without running out of time, sooo waht worries me now is that, if i dont' pass this exam my thoughts are..well..soo it done'st matter if i guess or actually attempt the questions. hee hee :-)....i'm nervous! I did read past forums about the 265 and how they passed and it makes me feel better. I feel confident, but...at times, i'm nervous and i'm like, well, if i dont' pass, i have to stay strong and try again you know.
However, i found this second time around , the questions were soooo much harder than the first exam. The first 75 i swear i thought i failed and i was waiting for the comp to kick me out. then , theh questions were more fair i thought. but boy, oeverall i thought it was tougher. has anyone taken the nclex more than once and received the 265 Q again? thanks everyone and sory that this is so long.

You're a strong woman to go through the boards twice. Congrats for keeping it up. See how much better it was going through the entire exam the second time around? You had time to spare which means you weren't answering in panic. By the way, if you'd let the test run out of time it would not have penalized you as badly as clicking any answer just to finish. But more on that later if anyone is interested.

Hang in there. You've gotten through the hard part. I know plenty of people who took the boards many times and they're great nurses. Testing is not the end all be all of being a fantastic RN. Best of luck with getting your results (whatever they may be)!
