Unhappy 2 isuues:frustrated&confused/eligibility-waiting time for retakers?Help!

Good day to everyone. I hope you can help me with this.I took my nclex(california)-april 10,2007 in hk, got the result-april 27. and sad to say I failed. I already sent my reapplication form together with the 75$ fee last may 15,2007. How long did you wait for eligibility to arrive(to the Philippines)?

And another thing,I'm so confused right now.I'm worried that it might take 4 months before I receive my eligibility just like my first one. And I don't know whether to just study or apply for a job in a clinic where it wouldn't be tiresome (unlike in the hospital) for me to be able to study when I get home from work.
I know I would'nt be able to juggle studying and working in the hospital. But I haven't been working for a year now because of all the exams (cg-ielts passer) and another 4-6 months...I feel like I've been a bum for a long time. I'm afraid hospitals here in the Philippines won't accept me, its pretty obvious I was taking the foreign exams to go to U.S.

need your words of wisdom....

from a tired, frustrated, confused heart and mind

FOR repeater it shld be easy for reapplication and you will receives it any time soon. If you are from Manila. Mailing from states its take 2weeks. GOOD LUCK...
Its worth if you take time to study, concentrate, practice alot of QUESTION's and ANSWER's esp. FOCUS on TEST STRATEGIES.
It will help you in long run when you studying and answering questions. Dont forget to used ABC and MASLOW's.

I HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE TO EVERYBODY OF WHAT I READ IN NCLEX BOOK.
IN answering PRIORITY QUESTION there is a possible exception of using the process of assessment as guide to prioritize. If the question presents an EMERGENCY SITUATION, read carefully and INTERVENTION may be the priority.

GOOD LUCK and taken my RN this coming JULY 23. WISH ME LUCK AND PRAY FOR ME....... Thank you.

Re: 2 isuues:frustrated&confused/eligibility-waiting time for retakers?Help!

hi i would like to ask the needed requirements for reapplying for eligiblity for repeat exam in california, i have the forms already sent by CALI BON. I took my nclex last may and i failed and now im gathering infos regarding applying by july.pls enlighten me to anyone who knows this..TY

here are my questions

1) do i only need to fill up the form for repeat examination for nclex? bcoz the other forms like request for accomodation for disabilities is not applicable becoz im perfectly healthy

2) i already asked my school to fill up the form for request for nursing program validation do i need to submit this form together with the form for repeat for nclex test in one envelope or the school should sent it separately?

3) do i need to get a new TOR, course description from my school in PHilippines and photocopy of license from the PRC also have a newfingerprint card from the NBI ?

4) what do i need to submit to cali bon for reapplying for examination for NCLEX-RN again? IS it only the FORM of repeat for examination thats only 1page enclosed with the75 dollars mangers check? or will i have to include the form for nursing program validation from the school?

Usually in California they keep your record up to 2yrs. if you took your test last year it should not be a problem. THEN just fill up the REAPPLICATION FORM w/ fee of $75. and wait for 2weeks mailing from CALIFORNIA TO MANILA ( if your fr. manila) Your lucky you take your test after one year orelse you will start all over again. GOOD LUCK...............

Sorry to hear that you did not pass, but you need to prepare as if you have never written the exam. And move on from there.

Near passing is still not passing, so you have alot more work to do. You should take a few days for yourself and then begin your preparation again, and from the beginning. This is going to be for a new exam that will be nothing like the one that you just wrote.

Best of luck to you, you can do it.
