Have you read some of the other comments made by people on this thread, then I feel you may find some of the material offensive, yes I believe in freedom of speech. but should not all nurses stick together to fight for what is right for the good of our fellow workers and patients.
I think you may find a common link between nurses from all countries and that we can learn off each other.
When I came in to nursing I did not come into this profession for the millions I was not going to earn.
I would like to work in your country not because I have a bad life and awful working conditions here in England, but I do believe your country can offer me a better standard of living and I have large extended family over there whom I wish my children to know. I can offer myself as a very educated, skilled Nurse of 15 years, so I feel i can bring experience with me. I do not want to come to your country to be just taking but to be giving as well.
Is it not possible that there are many people offering skills like me, that can only be an advantage.
I trained for 3 years 3 months for my RN, then i trained for 18 months to get an honours degree (BSC hons) to become a specialist in my field. I have numerous courses under my belt again amounting to a further 18 months studying. I am also working towards my masters. So i feel i can offer a far amount.
Again I cannot be the only foreign nurse who has all this going for her.
