Thanks Ari, you beat me, I honestly had to look it up, I have trouble remembering exact verses and quotes, I just remember the info and usually the chapter....it's cool that you knew..and most of all shared it with the rest of us...

A Social Security number is not worldwide. The Bible talks about this "mark" being worldwide.

The SSN is not part of my body. You could scan me with all kinds of beams and not know my SSN. There will be no hiding with that chip. It's a very scary time for us all.

The microchip will be the means to the end. In the bible it is clear that the mark of the beast is something that is willingly accepted on a person's body. They will know it is the mark of the beast. Someone having a microchip implanted for health reasons is not the same thing because it is for a different purpose. However, there are many ways that society is being PREPARED for this event to happen - the microchips are becoming more and more common and thus when it is time for the mark of the beast to be implemented, it won't be that "weird" for those who choose it KWIM? Just wanted to clarify that. The chip itself is not what the Bible is referring to, unless it is specifically for the purpose referred to in Revelation.
