While I'm all for many integrative medical treatments, I'm also for very carefully checking out the methods before trying them, and only using certain kinds..

This guy sounds like a nutcase to me.

I can say that administering meds with out a permit and treating cancer patients with this type of drug is a No-no.. I am very particular in giving meds and I make sure meds for patients are in the right dosage, order and make sure also the case of my patient...this is a lesson to all health practitioners... and to soon to be doctors...

If I remember correctly, this is a 70+ y/o GA doctor that is alleged to have done this. If so, they should pull his license and put him under the jail.

What ever happened to mandatory retirement ages?

Re: U.S doctors charged with treating cancer patients with pesticides

I think that the issues here are honesty, ethical conduct, and maybe competence, but not necessarily age/retirement

Each person's actions have to be looked at - on an individual basis.

(Even now I find myself wondering "WHY?" would they give weed killer or pesticides as treatment to these people?)

What mandatory retirement age? Doctors have worked well into their 70s and beyond for as long as I can remember. Lots of people do.

The government even has increased benefits if you work past the "average" retirement age of 65.
