RWJF Seeks Proposals to Address the Nursing Shortage

To alleviate the challenges contributing to the nation’s nursing shortage, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and Northwest Health Foundation have announced a new round of
funding opportunities through the "
Partners Investing in Nursing’s Future" initiative.
Through this program, local and regional foundations will receive funding to support collaborations among nurses, workforce investment boards and community organizations on a variety of projects, including initiatives that bolster diversity, long term care, public health, educational infrastructure/faculty shortage and mid-level management.
The program will award 10 two-year grants of up to $250,000 each. The application deadline is
