Registered nurses ratify contracts
Pacts concluded at 3 hospitals in Bay Area, 1 in L.A.

Registered nurses at three Daughters of Charity hospitals in the Bay Area and one in Los Angeles have ratified four-year contracts that their union said will bring major gains in patient care and member compensation.
The contracts cover more than 1,500 registered nurses employed by the Daughters of Charity Health System. They include 500 at Seton Medical Center in Daly City; 500 at O'Connor Hospital in San Jose; 120 at St. Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy; and 400 at St. Vincent Hospital in Los Angeles.
