Well, if you really want to get graphic and specific , the urinary tract is the primary exit route for medication metabolites filtered out of the blood, but feces may contain undissolved or partially dissolved tablets ...

We put rx's in the shredder or crush and dispose of in trash. Unfortunately it probably just seeps back into the ground water eventually anyway.

I'm not sure why you're asking if fecal matter is more or less harmful, but the bottom line is...it's all flushed to the same place, and then we drink more of it, and then we grow 3rd arms and die.
Seriously though, I wonder which "drinking" water is the best now, considering all the residue they don't test for...if any is safe. I'm having some aquafina now, had some fiji yesterday....any thoughts?

I have been drinking distilled water for sometime, hoping that as water rises to a vapor, and condenses its pure water. My chemistry is a little rusty, so cant say that with total confidence.

ROFL!!

"Seriously, though," I've heard many people (who are in a position to know, I mean -- scientists, water treatment professionals) make the argument that bottled drinking water is a riskier choice, because municipal tap water has to meet v. strict federal and state standards, the water treatment plants' testing is monitored regularly to make sure they're really doing the required testing, etc., etc., -- but there are virtually no standards for bottled water, and it could have anything in it.

I agree that bottled drinking water could be a riskier choice, however, I dont know if its practical to test for every possible harmfull chemical. So we still could be exposed to harmfull untested chemicals. Still I agree, treated govt water is probably the least riskier. But for me its still distilled water.

I wonder about ionized water? I have a past client of mine before I was an RN who has this whole system eet up at her home where she and her husband drink and even her dogs drink, ionized water. I should email her and talk to her about that. I know that system costs a pretty little penny, but geesuz....this is seriously alarming to me, as I do not take medication at all!!
