Someone should tell this guy that 6 hours in an ED is really not that bad. In the ER where I work we usually have a 3-4 time from in the door to out the door, but many of the nearby hospitals will have you wait that long just in the waiting room. The trauma center up the road will have people in their waiting room for 8-12 hours at times.
Point is-ED's are way overcrowded.Maybe he should write an article about that.

I think an article about ER overcrowding, and the ER abuse that contributes to it, is a really good idea.
I also really liked that, not only did he say great things about the hospital staff (including housekeeping!) but he also mentioned that the nasty people were the patients!
The other thing I noticed is that, while the administrator apologized for the ER wait, it didn't read to me like the staff was blamed.
