Oakland Children's Hospital Nurses Get New Contract

Children's Hospital and Research Center in Oakland has reached a proposed new contract agreement with its registered nurses, the California Nurses Association announced today.

According to the association, if the nurses approve the contract tonight they will all receive pay increases of at least 22.5 percent over the next three years. Nurses who have worked at the hospital for many years will earn pay increases of 25.5 percent...
