There was ONE that I know of - "Nightingales" back in the late 80's. It focused a group of nursing students living together in Nightingale House and going through clinicals. It had Kristy Swanson, Suzanne Pleshette and I think Gil Gerard in it. It was kind of campy/trampy and got axed before the first season was finished.

I actually liked it.
