No one has put these labels on the conservatives- at least nothing that isn't being documented in case after case.
If you are not a racist, hate monger or any of those labels what have you done to speak against the incidiary remarks of McCain Palin campaign?
Silence is the same as acceptance. Do you not disagree with the inflammatory and dishonest statements being tossed about in an attempt to use hate as a weopon?
Or do you think it is ok as long as the conservative candidate wins?
This is the question that is burning in the minds of progressives these days. We understand (but disagree) with the conservative arguements but this issue is one we are having a hard time grasping.
Since when is muslim a bad word?
Why does islam =terror in the stump speeches
"That one", "does not think like us" , "kill him" "terrorist", N***

This is now the burning question that lingers. Haven't we moved past all of this and if so why aren't more republicans admonishing their members and candidataes for making race and religion an issue in this campaign?
Donna Brazile: Don't Ever Put Me In The Back Of The Bus"
I'm gonna say it and get it off my chest, because for the next thirty days, I'm gonna be the best Catholic woman ever....As a child who grew up in the segregated Deep South, we've come so far in this country....But I remember when I used to get on the bus: my mother would tell me, "Donna, when you get on the bus, you and your brothers go all the way to the back, and don't look at anybody." We have changed. This is a more tolerant, open, progressive society. And yet, we're having this conversation because [Obama] is biracial. He spent nine months in the womb of a white woman. He was raised...by his white grandparents...He got out of school and went to Harvard, and all of a sudden he's "uppity" and there's something wrong with him? What is wrong with us?...
