Nursery Nurses To Stay Out On Strike - Uk

NURSERY nurses in North Lanarkshire are continuing to fight for a national settlement — as the all-out strike action reached stalemate this week.

Although 11 of the 32 local councils have managed to reach settlements, UNISON in North Lanarkshire have vowed to remain firm in their stance.

Joan Kinloch, a UNISON official for the Motherwell branch, said: “North Lanarkshire nursery nurses will fight all the way to reach a national agreement.

“ We are still firmly behind strike action.

“We want to keep our profile high, and make everyone realise that North Lanarkshire nursery nurses remain solid in our strike...
