Nice article about local nurses

The article honors these flight professionals in their deaths (Seattle):

They spent their days in a cramped, flying emergency room, taking off at night or in bad weather to beat the clock and cheat death for thousands of patients each year.

And on Friday, the crew of an Airlift Northwest helicopter that crashed into the Puget Sound were recalled as brave souls who were both well-respected and well-loved.

"Each one of these individuals was loved as a brother and as a sister," said Dr. David Baker, acting medical director for Airlift Northwest. Killed in the crash were pilot Steve Smith; flight nurse Lois Suzuki, a pediatric nurse; and flight nurse Erin Reed, a former paramedic.
