I had a positive, and 5 different people had 5 different opinions on what that meant. 2 said mine was neg, 2 pos, 1 inconclusive.
Just had that happen over the weekend. Two patients had a reaction. One was as big as an egg and a clear positive. The other I called borderline or inconclusive. The other nurse called it positive. That was a 48 hour reading so an infection control person was going to read it at 72. Infection control has the last word.
